Organizations are increasingly finding that they must rely on effective supply chains, or networks, to successfully compete in the global market and networked economy where business relationships extends beyond traditional enterprise boundaries and seeks to organize entire business processes throughout a value chain of multiple companies. Successful SCM requires a change from managing individual functions to integrating activities into key supply chain processes involving collaborative work between buyers and suppliers, joint product development, common systems and shared information.
Course Objectives
The Course will provide participants with both a theoretical and practical understanding of the key concepts of Supply Chain Management and how managers can incorporate this in their corporate strategy by engaging them in developing supply chain management systems and linking their effectiveness to the organizations Return On Investment.
